The band is back!
My full band The Furor Poeticus is going to be hitting the stage at Acoustic Cafe as a ten piece once again on the evening of Friday February 10th. I’m very very excited about this. We will be performing a gang of material for the first time, keyboard bad ass Steve Detroy will be joining us for the first time, and Phenetiks’ DJ Sir Cumference will be making his debut as a percussionist this evening.
Its going to be a family affair as the opening sets of the evening will be performed by my drummer (and fantastic singer/songwriter) Darian Cunning and my guitarist Will Vega’s band Big Moon.
This will be the first time we have performed together since (I believe) last June.
Be there folks… and tell everyone to do the same.

I wanted to compile a lot of the places my album was featured in the last quarter of the year so that you folks could check out a lot of the kind words in one place (was looking for the unkind but I haven’t really encountered them lol) I want to thank all of the writers that pushed the album into sight for folks.
This Is Book’s Music: (Album review)
“What makes this work for me is this. In these songs, there’s a sense of lyrical and musical freedom that I love to hear, one I feel has almost disappeared in hip-hop”

Performing “If (The Possibilities)” with DJ Mo Niklz at Kenny’s Castaways in NYC.
Please answer me… Exhale… anything. The smallest reverberation formed from your lips can resuscitate the remembrance of your skin against mine, where all converges and feasts upon the heavens’ blinding light. There can not be anything more beautiful than that place right there by your side and your lungs hone the ability to breathe our us into fruition once again… so… … Please answer… Just… a word. One fucking enticing word or even just hello. Once a greeting, now amorous, hello could level me into the man I should be; ashes of truth dancing in the wind wishing to one day return to your grace. That wondrous warmth once bestowed; oh how I miss your grasp of my frame that I’d search for a thousand similes for “paradise” and discard each failing trying to describe such… so… Please… say… anything. Force your air upon my thoughts so I can once again dance amongst those lips I somehow know were built for me. Built for me to taste serenity’s moment of sunset, bask in its corona and die twice swimming in the current of your raindrops. One syllable can allow these fingertips to run trails through follicles traced crown to waist and allow you to be nestled in my arms where you should be. Come home… I miss you.
